![]() Okay, here's the lowdown on best-selling novelist Stuart Woods. My notes from Atlanta luncheon: • 30 plus years ago he borrowed $5000 to buy his first computer. • His first novel, Chiefs, fit on 10 floppy discs. • He now writes on a Mac Air. • He moves frequently to each of his 3 homes (not sure where). • He's now writing 3 novels per year. • He says he only writes an hour a day. You heard me right. • He's penned 50 novels in 31 years. • He likes to read non-fiction, history, biographies, etc. • He has a good sense of humor.

![]() Okay, so yesterday I finally typed "The End" to my 5th novel! It will be book two in my new series, The Crittendon Files! Notice the champagne cork? Notice the name? Cook! That's my publisher, David C Cook, and I thought it was quite mysterious and appropriate that their name "popped" up out of nowhere when Patty and I went to celebrate the completion of the new work. Can't tell you the title yet, but it is so unique...I'm psyched about it! So, book one in the new series, Fear Has a Name, will release June 1, 2013. This second book in the series will come out just six months later, Dec. 1, 2013. I plan to take a few weeks off, then dig into book three in the series. Hey everyone, thanks so much for SHARING the recent giveaway we did on Amazon, offering FULL TILT free for 3-days.
We ended up hitting at least #48 on Amazon and gave away almost 6,400 copies. ![]() I just received my Kindle Fire from my good friends at Amazon several weeks ago and LOVE it. I've downloaded a number of classics, some how to books, and some freebies from some of my favorite authors, including Travis Thrasher and Chris Fabry. Wed. Sept 12 - Fri Sept. 14 you can download the Kindle version of my thriller FULL TILT, free of charge at amazon. Just click the image of the book and get your copy. Have a great week guys! ![]() Wow, things have been SO busy. Between writing new novels and freelance copywriting gigs, and investing in family and life, I've had little time leftover to invest in the website, Facebook, Twitter and social media. Just had a chat today with the Sr. Dir. of Internet Marketing at my new publisher (David C Cook), and he got me motivated to do some basics that readers like/want. Sooooo, I'll be trying to do more brief updates here, while I migrate all my current Facebook friends over to my new Fan page on Facebook. Whew, and as if that isn't enough, I'll be trying to do more on Twitter and Goodreads. I am glad to have you here and hope you'll drop in often. cm |
